Problem :

UrbanEase set out to bring multiple everyday urban services into a single super app, while also supporting a separate platform for businesses managing those services. As new services were introduced, each came with unique workflows and user expectations. The challenge wasn't designing one feature, but ensuring the product could grow without becoming fragmented or inconsistent.

Solution :

Rather than treating each service as an independent product, I focused on creating a scalable design foundation. Shared interaction patterns, reusable components, and a consistent design language ensured every service felt connected while retaining its own identity. The platform evolved incrementally, allowing the design system to mature alongside the product.

Challenge :

Designing for an evolving startup meant working with changing requirements, multiple stakeholders, and two interconnected products, B2C and B2B. Every design decision needed to solve the immediate problem while supporting future services that hadn't been fully defined yet. Balancing flexibility, consistency, and scalability became the core design challenge throughout the project.

Summary :

UrbanEase transformed my approach to product design from creating individual screens to designing systems that support long-term growth. The project reinforced the importance of thinking beyond features, considering how products evolve over time, and making decisions that strengthen the entire ecosystem. It remains an ongoing collaboration as new services continue to shape the platform.
